Meet Luna - a really gorgeous Collie who is looking for her new home!

​

Due to unfortunate circumstances in her current home Luna can no longer get the full attention she deserves, and so has come to Pawfection to help find a new family that she can bring joy to.

 

Luna is an energetic bundle full of love who absolutely ADORES getting tummy rubs and spending time with you! Her favourite place is lying in the middle of the floor... or mysteriously at your feet if you're making food.

As a Collie she has a lot of energy and wants to play, either with toys in the house or outside with a ball! Even just having a run around or being encouraged to chase a ball is enough to keep her happy.

​

When walking she is always on a long lead which helps her to not pull, but she can want to chase things like unexpected cars/motorcycles and birds. She loves sniffing around and taking her time, as well as going at a quick pace!

She struggles with her recall when on walks, which will need training in a new home. 

​

Luna has shown to struggle with being more anxious about unexpected things she can't see after an incident with another dog, so it is always best to approach her from the front. As Luna learns and adjusts to her new home, she will gain confidence and be willing to allow a slow approach from the side.

​

In her previous home, Luna has been confidently around an infant from being 10 weeks to 1 years old with no issue, but older kids may suit her better as they are more likely to respect her boundaries. She has also lived with 3 cats, one of which was kept away from her but she has not had a major incident with. A careful introduction would be needed to any other pets in a pitential home. 

​

She sleeps in a kennel at night, which she uses as a safe place if she is overwhelmed. This has been in a bedroom so she has been used to sleeping near someone.
