Jasper

Meet Jasper, yes that is a cat flap stuck over his head! He's an Olde English Bulldog X Border Collie! This lovely young boy has not got a bad bone in his body but has more energy than a wind turbine in a hurricane! When jasper came into us he had been severely lacking in exercise due to his owners ill health and was easily over stimulated by everything and everyone.

He is coming on leaps and bounds in his current foster placement and is learning to live happily with children, cats and other dogs. He is a very happy bouncy boy and can jump up although this is being worked on and is getting better. He has so much love to give to someone who can take the time to build a strong bond and relationship with him

​

Given the mix of herding breeds in Jasper he is going to need a VERY active lifestyle with plenty of exercise and focused mental stimulation. He can get very over stimulated so would suit a calmer household with a good routine and lots of outdoor space.

 

While being very submissive and good natured he has not been socialised from a young age an needs more work on his manners. He could be a little too much for some dogs with wanting to play constantly.

Jasper is crate trained and settles well once left, while Jasper is responding well in his current home but he is going to require ongoing training to ensure he learns to be the calm,  loving, loyal companion he can be.
